About Me

Phi Mu was founded in 1852 at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia and is the second oldest sorority in the nation. We have provided social opportunities, a support network, and personal enrichment resources to members for over 150 years. In that time over 175,000 Phi Mu women have been vibrant members of college campuses and we have chartered over 228 chapters. Phi Mu Fraternity is a vibrant values-based women's organization. Our purpose is found in the principles of love, honor, and truth. We vigorously pursue the interests and purpose of women on collegiate campuses and in our communities. We are lively directing our energies toward ideas bigger than ourselves. We build one another up toward achieving our personal best. The promise of our mutual efforts is a lifetime of sisterhood. We are individuals, leaders, and friends. We give and serve. We are Phi Mu!

Sister of the Week: Kenzie Strickert

Our sister of the week is Kenzie Strickert!
Kenzie is a senior from Newnan, G.A.

What Kenzie LOVES about Phi Mu
"Phi Mu has given me so many opportunities and experiences that I will cherish forever! I have made so many close friends with not only my pledge class but the pledge classes below me. Phi mu has taught me how to be a leader on campus as well as in the sorority."

Kenzie's HONORS at Auburn
Kenzie serves as Auburn University's Panhellenic President. Kenzie represents not only our chapter, but 16 other chapters with poise and grace. She is responsible for leading the 90 woman Panhellenic Council as well as the Panhellenic Executive board. Kenzie is always positively representing Phi Mu and Panhellenic in the community and on campus. We could not be more proud to claim Kenzie as a sister of our chapter.

The TRUTH about Kenzie
Though Kenzie is a wonderfully intelligent woman, she admits she is not the strongest speller!

Check back next Sunday to learn about another wonderful sister of the Alpha Mu Chapter of Phi Mu at Auburn University!
